Neighborly Love

A public, ad-hoc installation for Tessinparken in Stockholm that challenged the municipal defensive design strategy. The installation gave residents tools to perform in, and iterate on, their public space themselves. The chairs were built in the park during a collaborative workshop in 2023 and stayed on site, moving around, finding new orientations, hosting impromptu parties, catching the afternoon sun, and acting as public furniture for 6 months until being cleared away by unknown persons.
